Geradezu einladend ziehen links und rechts des Tales grüne Wiesen- und Almhänge hinauf in die kühle Frische der leicht erwanderbaren Zweitausender. Dahinter, Richtung Süden, werden die Gipfel nicht nur höher, sondern auch schroffer und hochalpiner. Atemberaubend ist das Panorama auf den vergletscherten Hauptkamm, das sich sowohl von den hohen, als auch von den niedrigeren Bergen bietet. Die 60 Touren in diesem Wanderführer führen in alle Winkel im Einzugsbereich des Zillertals, also auch in das Gerlostal und das Tuxer Tal. Sowohl für Genusswanderer als auch für anspruchsvolle Gipfelsammler hält der Band eine große Auswahl an Zielen bereit.
