Als Extra finden Sie zudem eine Beschreibung für den Aufstieg auf den höchsten Gipfel des Olymps, der ebenfalls im Norden Griechenlands liegt.
The Zagoria Trek shows a Greece that few travelers know: a mountainous country with rugged rock massifs, countless water sources, vast forests, free-living horses and cows and the deepest gorge in the world. The circular hiking path leads through this unique landscape in up to 7 stages (up to 104 km incl. Extra tour Beloi and further hike to Lake Drachensee), which can be shortened or lengthened individually.
The hiking guide describes possible stage combinations and provides detailed directions for each stage with accommodation and refreshments, maps, elevation profiles and GPS tracks. As an extra, you will also find a description of the ascent to the highest summit of Mount Olympus, which is also in northern Greece.
