Dieser Wanderführer lädt ein, die toskanische Bilderbuchlandschaft zu Fuß zu entdecken. Am Weg liegen etruskische Nekropolen, romanische Klöster und verträumte, mittelalterlich anmutende Landstädtchen. Wer hoch hinaus will, ist mit der Bergregion um den erloschenen Vulkan Monte Amiata gut bedient. Das Chianti zeigt sich zur Weinlese im goldenen Herbst von seiner besten Seite. Für Naturfreunde ist der Naturpark Maremma an der Küste des Tyrrhenischen Meeres mit seinem vielfältigen Ökosystem ein Muss. Zusätzlich wurden vier Wanderungen auf der Insel Giglio aufgenommen. Die zum Nationalpark Toskanischer Archipel gehörende kleine Mittelmeerinsel ist außerhalb der sommer-lichen Hochsaison ein pures Idyll.
Die Gehzeit der 50 leichten bis mittelschweren Wanderungen überschreitet selten vier Stunden, sodass stets genügend Zeit für Kultur, Badestopps und Einkehr bleibt. The nature park Maremma on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea with its diverse ecosystem is a must for nature lovers. In addition, four hikes were recorded on the island of Giglio. The small Mediterranean island belonging to the Tuscan Archipelago National Park is a pure idyll outside of the summer high season.
The walking time of the 50 easy to moderate hikes rarely exceeds four hours, so there is always enough time for culture, swimming stops and refreshments.
