Die Wanderungen bieten eine schöne Mischung aus leichten, genussvollen Halbtageswanderungen und anspruchsvolleren Touren im Bereich um Bludenz, Vandans, Schruns-Tschagguns, Gargellen, Gaschurn sowie Vermunt- und Silvretta-Stausee. Von den Wahrzeichen des Rätikon, Drusenfluh und Drei Türme, werden die Wanderungen rund um die Tilisunahütte beherrscht. Die Silvretta Hochalpenstraße ermöglicht Ausflüge in die Gletscherwelt der Dreitausender, und wer es lieber gemütlich mag, der wandert auf eine der zahlreichen im Sommer bewirtschafteten Almen, die in beschaulicher Lage über dem Montafoner Talgrund liegen.
Jede Wanderung wird mit einer zuverlässigen Wegbeschreibung, einem Kartenausschnitt mit einge-zeichnetem Routenverlauf und einem aussagekräftigen Höhenprofil vorgestellt. The attractively located valley landscape of the Montafon is surrounded by very different alpine regions: the lonely Verwall rises in the north, the white splendor of the Silvretta in the south and the steep rock flanks of the Rätikon tower in the east. The hiking opportunities that the Montafon has to offer its guests are correspondingly diverse. This Rother hiking guide presents 50 selected tours that lead to the most impressive lookout points in the Montafon.
The hikes offer a nice mix of easy, enjoyable half-day hikes and more demanding tours in the area around Bludenz, Vandans, Schruns-Tschagguns, Gargellen, Gaschurn as well as Vermunt and Silvretta reservoirs. The hikes around the Tilisuna hut are dominated by the landmarks of the Rätikon, Drusenfluh and Drei Türme. The Silvretta High Alpine Road enables excursions into the glacier world of the three-thousand meter peaks, and if you prefer a more leisurely stroll, you can hike to one of the numerous alpine pastures that are cultivated in summer and which are situated in a tranquil location above the Montafon valley.
