È un cammino che dalle colline di Muggia costeggia il Golfo di Trieste, attraversa la Val Rosandra, penetra nel Parco di Miramare, quindi s’insinua nella natura aspra e selvaggia del Carso per raggiungere le falesie di Duino e continua toccando le sorgenti del Timavo, le foci dell’Isonzo e la Val Cavanata, per proseguire verso le spiagge e la laguna di Grado. Oltre all’aspetto paesaggistico il percorso colleziona chiese e palazzi come l’antica Basilica di Muggia Vecchia o il Duomo di Muggia, la Cattedrale e il Castello di San Giusto, i
palazzi e i magazzini sul mare di Trieste, il Castello di Miramare, di Duino, la Rocca veneta e le trincee della Grande Guerra di Monfalcone, le basiliche paleocristiane a Grado e l’isola di Barbana, per giungere infine ad Aquileia, oggi Patrimonio dell’Umanità. È un itinerario che trova linfa vitale anche nelle sue suggestioni spirituali, è collegato ai cammini per Santiago e dotato di apposite credenziali di pellegrinaggio.

It is an itinerary that also finds its lifeblood in its spiritual suggestions, it is connected to the paths to Santiago and equipped with specific pilgrimage credentials.
