Auf 24 Etappen klettert die »Himmelsstürmer Route« aus dem Alpenvorland bei Füssen hinauf in den höchsten Teil des Allgäus. Der Weg führt zu den berühmten Königsschlössern Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau, durch die berühmte Nagelfluhkette, zu rauschenden Wasserfällen und erfrischenden Gebirgsseen und über mehrere über 1800 Meter hohe Gipfel. Von Halblech bis Oberstdorf ist man herrliche zwölf Tage unterwegs.
