Nordkalottleden är en drygt 800 kilometer lång vandringsled som passerar de nordligaste delarna av Norge, Finland och Sverige genom ett av Europas mest storslagna och opåverkade vildmarksområden. Leden korsar riksgränserna sammanlagt 18 gånger och går förbi 50 övernattningsstugor och fem nationalparker i de tre länderna.

Det här är den första boken som ges ut på svenska om Nordkalottleden. Du får en komplett beskrivning av leden, från startpunkten Kautokeino i norr till de tre alternativa slutdestinationerna Hellemobotn, Sulitjelma och Kvikkjokk. I boken är Nordkalottleden indelad i fyra avsnitt mellan de orter som har bäst kommunikationer. Varje avsnitt lämpar sig för en fjällvandring på 8-12 dagar.

The Nordkalott Trail is a little more than 800 kilometers of hiking trail that passes through the northernmost parts of Norway, Finland and Sweden through one of Europe's most magnificent and unaffected wilderness areas. The trail crosses national borders a total of 18 times and goes past 50 overnight cottages and five national parks in the three countries.

This is the first book to be published in Swedish on the Nordkalottleden trail. You get a complete description of the trail, from the Kautokeino starting point in the north to the three alternative end destinations of Hellemobotn, Sulitjelma and Kvikkjokk. In the book, the Nordkalott Trail is divided into four sections between the locations that have the best communications. Each section is suitable for a mountain hike of 8-12 days.
