A volte serve uno sguardo nuovo, “ingenuo”’, per cogliere le meraviglie che si celano sotto il telo del quotidiano. Il Biellese, visto e vissuto, è indubbiamente un territorio ricco di storia e carattere, ed esserne consapevoli non fa che aumentare e approfondire l’esperienza di un’escursione sulle sue montagne. Ma il Biellese è anche un territorio che parla da sé, con i suoi ampi e vari panorami che spaziano dalla pianura alle catene alpine, con i suoi borghi e boschi e fiumi e valli.
Lo scopo degli autori è stato appunto quello di presentare e mettere in evidenza entrambe queste bellezze: i pregi intrinseci delle sue valli e i pregi più sottili e autoctoni, che solo un locale conosce.
In questa guida, i due punti di vista si intrecciano e si alternano, con l’obiettivo di mostrare il territorio sotto una nuova luce, sia a chi è forestiero, sia a chi è ben familiare.

Sometimes you need a new, “naive” look to grasp the wonders that lie beneath the curtain of everyday life. The Biella area, seen and experienced, is undoubtedly a territory rich in history and character, and being aware of this only increases and deepens the experience of an excursion in its mountains. But the Biella area is also a territory that speaks for itself, with its wide and varied panoramas that range from the plain to the Alpine chains, with its villages and woods and rivers and valleys.
The aim of the authors was precisely to present and highlight both of these beauties: the intrinsic qualities of its valleys and the more subtle and indigenous qualities, that only a local knows.
In this guide, the two points of view intertwine and alternate, with the aim of showing the territory in a new light, both to those who are foreign and to those who are well familiar.
