Le Valli del Gran Paradiso sono oggi un “simbolo della natura”, forte e radicato anche per chi non ha mai visitato questi luoghi.
Le vallate aostane del Parco Nazionale, primo istituito in Italia, Val di Rhêmes, Valsavaranche e Val di Cogne, così come la vicina Valgrisenche, esclusa dall’area protetta ma così vicina geograficamente e idealmente alle valli limitrofe, racchiudono uno straordinario “tesoro” naturale, faunistico, geologico, ma anche storico e umano.
Valli e montagne vissute e da vivere a piedi, che possono essere esplorate camminando sulle comode mulattiere reali, sdraiandosi in riva a un lago ascoltando il rumore del vento, osservando l’arrampicata “in libera” di stambecchi e camosci sulle più scoscese creste di roccia o contemplando in silenzio le fioriture primaverili ai piedi di ghiacciai scintillanti.
Le 45 escursioni proposte percorrono i sentieri della Valgrisenche, della Val di Rhêmes, della Valsavarenche e della Valle di Cogne.

The Gran Paradiso Valleys are today a “symbol of nature”, strong and rooted even for those who have never visited these places.
The Aosta valleys of the National Park, the first established in Italy, Val di Rhêmes, Valsavaranche and Val di Cogne, as well as the nearby Valgrisenche, excluded from the protected area but so close geographically and ideally to the neighboring valleys, contain an extraordinary natural, faunal, geological, but also historical and human “treasure”.
Valleys and mountains lived and to be lived on foot, which can be explored by walking on comfortable royal mule tracks, lying on the shore of a lake listening to the sound of the wind, observing the “free” climbing of ibex and chamois on the steepest rock crests or silently contemplating the spring blooms at the foot of glittering glaciers.
The 45 excursions proposed follow the paths of Valgrisenche, Val di Rhêmes, Valsavarenche and Valle di Cogne.
