Der Rother Wanderführer »Bremen – Oldenburg« stellt die 50 schönsten Touren dieser Region zwischen Nordseeküste und der Domstadt Verden an der Aller vor. Zu den kulturhistorischen Höhepunkten gehören vorgeschichtliche Steinsetzungen, die gotische Klosterruine Hude, die sehenswerte Altstadt der Hansestadt Bremen sowie die Hafenstadt Bremerhaven mit ihrer modernen Museumslandschaft.

Der Rother Wanderführer präsentiert Touren vom Lehrpfad im Huvenhoopsmoor bis zum Zwischenahner Meer im Ammerland, vom Bederkesaer See am Europäischen Fernwanderweg 9 bis Wildeshausen am Jakobsweg, von der Domstadt Verden an der Mündung der Aller bis zum Salzwiesenlehrpfad beim Krabbenkutterhafen Fedderwardsiel.

Jede Tour beschreibt genau, was auf den Wanderer zukommt: Gehzeit und Anforderungen sind detailliert aufgeführt und erlauben eine zielgerichtete Auswahl der passenden Wanderung. Dazu kommen Infos zur Erreichbarkeit oder Kombinationsmöglichkeit mit anderen Touren. Für sämtliche Strecken stehen GPS-Daten zum Download bereit. Eine Vielzahl von Fotos stimmt auf ein genussvolles Wandern ein.

Für die dritte Auflage hat Autor Wolfgang Schwartz das Werk von Bernhard Pollmann vollständig überarbeitet und um neue Wanderungen erweitert.

Each tour describes exactly what the hiker can expect: Walking time and requirements are detailed and allow a targeted selection of the right hike. There is also information about accessibility or the possibility of combining it with other tours. GPS data are available for download for all routes. A multitude of photos puts you in the mood for an enjoyable hike.

For the third edition, the author Wolfgang Schwartz has completely revised Bernhard Pollmann's work and added new walks.
