La Valle del Lys, comunemente detta "di Gressoney", è la più orientale delle vallate valdostane. Qui è possibile praticare l'escursionismo a tutti i livelli: dai facili percorsi di fondovalle tra splendidi villaggi Walser, alle salite ad alpeggi o panoramiche cime, fino alle lunghe vallate orientate verso il versante piemontese, dove ancora resistono alcuni selvaggi ed interminabili valloni. Ultime, ma non ultime, cime e aeree creste attrezzate al cospetto dei fantastici ghiacciai del Monte Rosa.
The Valle del Lys, commonly known as "Gressoney", is the easternmost point of the Valdostan valley. In this first volume it is the "high" area, which is the closest to Monte Rosa which corresponds to the territory of the municipality of Gressoney-Saint-Jean and Gressoney-La-Trinité.
