Dies ist die 8. Auflage des Spitzbergen-Reiseführers von Rolf Stange, erschienen 2025: Ein umfassender Reiseführer zur arktischen Inselgruppe Spitzbergen mit 608 Seiten. Ausführliches Inhaltsverzeichnis und umfangreiches Stichwortverzeichnis, zahlreiche Karten im Text. Über 300 Farbfotos illustrieren Landschaften, Natur, Tiere, Pflanzen, Orte und Regionen. Diese neue, achte Auflage (erschienen 2025) ist wieder in allen Kapiteln und Abschnitten überarbeitet und aktualisiert. Auch die Karten, Schriftsatz und Stichwortverzeichnis wurden teils umfassend überarbeitet. Neu in der 8. Auflage: Es gibt aktualisierte und umfangreiche neue Informationen in fast allen Abschnitten und Kapitel, darunter die ab 2025 neu geltenden Regeln. Darüber hinaus gibt es zahlreiche Aktualisierungen im Detail in allen Kapiteln. Die Anzahl der Farbfotos ist noch einmal gewachsen (mittlerweile über 300), und vor allem befinden die Farbfotos sich nun jeweils dort im Text, wo sie hingehören, was die Handhabung des Buches deutlich erleichtert. This is the 8th edition of Rolf Stange's Spitsbergen travel guide, published in 2025: A comprehensive 608-page travel guide to the Arctic archipelago of Spitsbergen. A detailed table of contents and extensive index, with numerous maps in the text. Over 300 color photographs illustrate landscapes, nature, animals, plants, towns, and regions. This new, eighth edition (published in 2025) has been revised and updated in all chapters and sections. The maps, typeface, and index have also been extensively revised in some areas. New in the 8th edition: There is updated and extensive new information in almost all sections and chapters, including the new rules that apply from 2025. In addition, there are numerous detailed updates in all chapters. The number of color photographs has increased again (now over 300), and most importantly, the color photographs are now located exactly where they belong in the text, making the book much easier to use.
