Questa guida raccoglie la quasi totalità degli itinerari scialpinistici che, con ragionevolezza e logica, sono stati sciati nella provincia del Verbano Cusio Ossola, nelle valli Bognanco e Divedro, un territorio molto vasto e particolarmente adatto alla pratica dello scialpinismo.

Nel volume sono relazionati 221 itinerari di tutti i generi e difficoltà, dal semplice percorso prettamente invernale, tra boschi e radure, al ripido canale che sale vette di quasi 4000 metri. Da quelli in cui si può trovare quasi certamente una traccia presente e probabilmente un ovvio affollamento, a quelli in cui non vi sarà nessuno e sarà necessario fare la traccia e trovare il giusto percorso. Perché la bellezza di questo territorio sta anche nell’avere ancora tanti luoghi scialpinisticamente poco conosciuti.

This guide collects almost all the ski mountaineering itineraries that, with reasonableness and logic, have been skied in the province of Verbano Cusio Ossola, in the Bognanco and Divedro valleys, a very vast territory and particularly suitable for ski mountaineering.

The volume reports 221 itineraries of all types and difficulties, from the simple winter route, through woods and clearings, to the steep canal that climbs peaks of almost 4000 meters. From those where you can almost certainly find a present track and probably an obvious crowd, to those where there will be no one and it will be necessary to make the track and find the right route. Because the beauty of this territory also lies in still having many places that are little known for ski mountaineering.
