In questo volume sono raccolti 65 itinerari, oltre a numerose varianti, sulle montagne bresciane e sugli immediati dintorni.
Le montagne bresciane si ergono dalla pianura e si innalzano sempre più elevate man mano che ci si sposta a settentrione. Quattro sono i gruppi montuosi trattati nel volume.
• Le Orobie Orientali che, principalmente dolomitiche, scendono verso la Valle Camonica e il Fiume Oglio e che raggiungono il Passo dell’Aprica.
• Dal Mortirolo al Passo Gavia e, poco oltre, verso oriente, il possente gruppo dell’Ortles-Cevedale, che si spinge in terra bresciana con montagne ora dolci e pacifiche, ora impervie e minacciose con ghiacciai e scure rocce rossastre.
• Il regno del granito, il gruppo dell’Adamello con le sue vallate scavate in tempi remoti dai ghiacciai e che scendono verso ovest, dal lato opposto delle Orobie, verso il Fiume Oglio.
• Infine le Prealpi Bresciane, montagne modeste ma piacevolissime anche d’inverno, che si stendono dal Lago d’Iseo sino al Lago di Garda, passando per la Val Trompia e la Val Sabbia e che a loro volta si possono suddivedere in due parti: le Tre Valli Bresciane, dal Sebino al Lago d’Idro, e i Monti del Garda, dal Lago d’Idro al Lago di Garda.

This volume contains 65 itineraries, as well as numerous variants, on the Brescia mountains and the immediate surroundings.
The Brescia mountains rise from the plain and become increasingly higher as you move north. Four mountain groups are covered in the volume.
• The Eastern Orobie, which are mainly Dolomites, descend towards the Valle Camonica and the Oglio River and reach the Aprica Pass.
• From Mortirolo to the Gavia Pass and, a little further, towards the east, the mighty Ortles-Cevedale group, which pushes into Brescia with mountains that are sometimes gentle and peaceful, sometimes impervious and threatening with glaciers and dark reddish rocks.
• The kingdom of granite, the Adamello group with its valleys carved out in ancient times by glaciers and which descend towards the west, on the opposite side of the Orobie, towards the Oglio River.
• Finally, the Brescia Prealps, modest mountains but very pleasant even in winter, which stretch from Lake Iseo to Lake Garda, passing through Val Trompia and Val Sabbia and which in turn can be divided into two parts: the Three Brescian Valleys, from Sebino to Lake Idro, and the Garda Mountains, from Lake Idro to Lake Garda.
