Il Monte Bianco, con i suoi 4807 m, è la montagna più alta delle Alpi. In parallelo, questo volume rappresenta il culmine più importante della collana Vie Normali Valle d’Aosta.
La grandiosità delle sue cime, l’estensione dei suoi ghiacciai e la profondità delle sue valli fanno del Monte Bianco la vera mecca dell’alpinismo. La sua conquista, infatti, avvenuta nel 1786, segna l’inizio di un’attività, quella dell’esplorazione delle terre alte, fino ad allora per nulla sviluppata.
Una montagna importante per tutto il movimento degli amanti dell’alpinismo e dell’escursionismo. Vera terra di conquista, raccontata in pagine e pagine di libri di avventura alpinistica alle quali si aggiungono quelle di questo volume che conduce verso tutte le vette del gruppo.

Il progetto ”Vie Normali Valle d’Aosta” prevede di salire tutte le oltre 1200 vie normali alle cime di questa regione, senza limiti di quote e di gerarchie, e di realizzare una collana di 8 volumi, dove troveranno posto le relazioni tecniche, fotografie e tracciati che descriveranno in maniera dettagliata e precisa le salite effettuate. Una collana di 8 guide escursionistiche-alpinistiche, aggiornate e tutte provate “sul campo” dagli autori.

The project “Vie Normali Valle d’Aosta” plans to climb all the 1200 normal routes on the peaks of this region, without limits of altitude and hierarchy, and to create a series of 8 volumes, where there will be technical reports, photographs and routes that will describe in detail and precisely the climbs made. A series of 8 hiking-mountaineering guides, updated and all tested “in the field” by the authors.
