The Levante Climbs South Guidebook covers the best sport climbing areas around Alicante and Murcia in the Costa Blanca area. The guidebook is split into 20 main areas and covers 1,000’s of routes on excellent limestone rock across a wide range of grades.
The 20 main climbing areas are:
Pedreguer, Alcalali, Murla, Jalon, Lliber, Beniali, Lorcha, Cocentaina, Alcoy, Tarbena, Sella, Cabezon de Oro, Elda, Orihuela, Mula, Ricote, Cieza, Benizar, Nerpio, and Leiva.
All the routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with height and the number of bolts. At the start of the guidebook there are colour photo-topos for all the crags featured, along with QR codes and a description about the style and aspect of the climbing to be found.
This guidebook has been published with the collaboration of the original route equippers and local climbers, and it includes many new sectors that have never been published before. A percentage of the income from sales of this guidebook will be donated to buy equipment to bolt new routes and re-equip existing ones.
Published in 2019 this Levante Climbs South guidebook is in Spanish, English and French text throughout.
