Auf dem niedersächsischen Teil des internationalen Nordseeküsten-Radwegs erwarten Sie vor allem Wattenmeer, Deiche mit Schafen und frischer Seewind – soweit die Klischees. Doch die vielen Dörfer und Städtchen haben mehr zu bieten! Erfahren Sie die Weite des flachen Landes und die Enge der winzigen Wurtendörfer. Oder spüren Sie das maritime Flair von historischen und modernen Küstenorten, vom winzigen Kutter- bis zum gewaltigen Überseehafen. Leicht wellig geht dann die Fahrt durch das Hinterland der unteren Elbe, bevor mit dem berühmten Alten Land und schließlich der Weltstadt Hamburg ein glanzvoller Abschluss der Reise folgt.

On the Lower Saxony section of the international North Sea Cycle Route, you can expect the Wadden Sea, dykes with sheep and a fresh sea breeze - so much for the clichés. But the many villages and towns have more to offer! Experience the vastness of the flat land and the narrowness of the tiny wurt villages. Or feel the maritime flair of historical and modern coastal towns, from tiny fishing ports to huge overseas ports. The ride then continues slightly undulating through the hinterland of the lower Elbe, before the famous Altes Land and finally the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg come to a brilliant end to the trip.
