Rad fahren an den Küsten Hollands und Frieslands – das verspricht einen genussvollen Urlaub im Mutterland der Fahrradferien! Zwei unterschiedliche Teilstücke bilden den niederländischen Teil des Internationalen Nordseeküsten-Radwegs: Von Rotterdam bis fast hinauf an die Nordspitze Hollands ziehen sich die großen Dünenparks, immer wieder unterbrochen durch die Wunder der holländischen Deich- und Wasserbaukunst. Über den gigantischen Abschlussdeich oder die Inseln Texel und Vlieland kommen Sie dann ins weite, offene Friesland. Entlang der Deiche und durch die vielen winzigen Dörfer und Warften geht es – oft mit reichlich Rückenwind – hinüber in die Provinz Groningen, zur weiten Nordseebucht Dollart und schließlich nach Deutschland an die Ems.

Cycling on the coasts of Holland and Friesland - that promises an enjoyable holiday in the motherland of cycling holidays! Two different sections form the Dutch part of the International North Sea Cycle Route: The large dune parks stretch from Rotterdam almost up to the northern tip of Holland, interrupted again and again by the wonders of Dutch dyke and hydraulic engineering. Via the gigantic dike or the islands of Texel and Vlieland you can then reach the vast, open Friesland. Along the dykes and through the many tiny villages and terps, it goes - often with plenty of tail wind - over to the province of Groningen, to the wide North Sea bay of Dollart and finally to Germany on the Ems.
