A guide for the pilgrim on a bicycle that leads through remote villages, towns, medieval abbeys, cities of art such as Nonantola, Modena, Pistoia and a solitary and wild Apennine pass such as the Passo della Croce Arcana. We will discover little-known views on the pedals that will make us appreciate a territory that needs to be re-evaluated with its peculiarities, its decisive and marked traits underlined by the presence of naturalistic areas, parks and suggestive river banks. The route of this third guide to the Via Romea Strata starts from Montagnana and reaches Fucecchio-San Miniato (where you can join the Via Francigena to reach Rome) through the last stretch of the Romea Annia - from Montagnana to Badia Polesine - and then along the entire Romea Nonantolana-Longobarda (from Badia Polesine to San Miniato). The book follows the main route (about 374 km) and proposes four other possible variants (overall there are another 114 kilometers) providing advice, detailed descriptions, altimetric profiles and in-depth boxes on the most relevant places from a historical, cultural and spiritual point of view. Project conceived and promoted by: Pilgrimage Office Diocese of Vicenza and Homo Viator-San Teobaldo Foundation
