Der EuroVelo 6 ist Teil des Europäischen Radfern­routennetzes und verbindet auf über 3600 Kilometern den Atlantik mit dem Schwarzen Meer. Der hier vorliegende Teil des EuroVelo?6 führt durch die Region Burgund, das südliche Elsass und durch das Sâone- und Doubstal. Anschließend ebnet der Rhein-Rhône-Kanal den Weg zu den Toren der Schweiz nach Basel. Der Radfernweg ermöglicht es, mit dem Fahrrad die touristischen Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten entlang einer der letzten naturbelassenen Flusslandschaften zu erleben. Die EuroVelo 6 ist ein Highlight des Radtourismus in Frankreich, das keinen Radlerwunsch offen lässt.

Die Gesamtlänge des Hauptradweges beträgt rund 796 Kilometer. Die Varianten und Ausflüge haben eine Länge von 53 Kilometern.

The EuroVelo 6 is part of the European cycle route network and connects the Atlantic and the Black Sea over 3600 kilometers. This part of EuroVelo? 6 leads through the Burgundy region, southern Alsace and through the Sâone and Doubstal. Then the Rhine-Rhône Canal paves the way to the gates of Switzerland to Basel.
