Auf den Spuren der Römer wandeln Sie in Aguntum und Teurnia - die glitzernd blauen Kärntner Seen laden danach zu einem herrlichen Badespaß ein. Und all das vor der traumhaften Kulisse großartiger Gebirgspanoramen. Slowenien und Kroatien warten mit einem Kontrastprogramm aus naturnahen Landstrichen, beschaulichen Dörfern und kulturellen Highlights in den großen Städten auf, bevor sich Drau und Mur in einem verträumten Augebiet bei Legrad ihrer Vereinigung hingeben - ein Ort, der vorerst das Ende des Drau-Radweges markiert.

The beautiful Drau presents itself as international and Mediterranean on its way from the South Tyrolean Alps through the sunny south of Austria and on through Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary to its mouth in the Danube. On the way along the Austrian Drau you will visit proud castles and artistic Renaissance palaces, Gothic churches with valuable frescoes, dreamy villages and historic towns. Follow in the footsteps of the Romans in Aguntum and Teurnia - the glittering blue Carinthian lakes then invite you to have wonderful bathing fun. And all of this in front of the fantastic backdrop of magnificent mountain panoramas. Slovenia and Croatia offer a contrasting program of natural landscapes, tranquil villages and cultural highlights in the big cities, before the Drau and Mura unite in a dreamy floodplain near Legrad - a place that initially marks the end of the Drau Cycle Path.
