 La ciclovia dell’Oglio è un viaggio di 280 km, tutto in territorio lombardo, dai ghiacciai alpini al Po. È un percorso che attraversa paesaggi molto vari: i boschi e i pascoli della Valle Camonica, le rive del lago d’Iseo, le infinite campagne della pianura lombarda. Un’esperienza alla portata di tutti, che attraversa magnifici scenari naturali ma anche territori ricchi di storia e cultura. Potrete conoscere i siti archeologici e le meravigliose pievi romaniche affrescate della Valle Camonica. Farete soste negli antichi borghi del lago, con le loro piazze e i loro portici. Andrete alla scoperta della lunga pianura che da sud del lago arriva al Po, nei pressi di Mantova, ricca di oasi naturalistiche ma anche di castelli e palazzi incantevoli. È una lunga pedalata per chi ama andare alla scoperta dei tesori meno noti, per chi è curioso e ama lasciarsi sorprendere da un territorio ricco di meraviglie. The Oglio cycle path is a 280 km journey, all in Lombardy, from the Alpine glaciers to the Po. It is a route that passes through very varied landscapes: the woods and pastures of the Camonica Valley, the shores of Lake Iseo, the endless countryside of the Lombardy plain. An experience accessible to everyone, which passes through magnificent natural scenery but also territories rich in history and culture. You will be able to discover the archaeological sites and the wonderful frescoed Romanesque parish churches of the Camonica Valley. You will stop in the ancient villages of the lake, with their squares and their porticos. You will go to discover the long plain that from the south of the lake reaches the Po, near Mantua, rich in naturalistic oases but also enchanting castles and palaces. It is a long ride for those who love to discover lesser-known treasures, for those who are curious and love to be surprised by a territory rich in wonders. A journey through places far from the tourist circuits, which will conquer you with their slow rhythms, their quiet, their ancient balances between man and nature.
