RUND UM DEN BODENSEE, ÜBERLINGER SEE UND UNTERSEE

Der etwa 260 Kilometer lange Radweg umrundet den gesamten Bodensee, der sich aus Obersee (inkl. Überlinger See) und Untersee (bestehend aus Zeller See, Gnadensee, Markelfinger Winkel und Rheinsee) zusammensetzt. Der größte Teil der Strecke führt Sie in unmittelbarer Nähe des Seeufers entlang. Lediglich an zwei Stellen ist aufgrund der naturräumlichen Gegebenheiten eine ufernahe Streckenführung nicht möglich: Am Südufer des Überlinger Sees fallen die Wände so steil zum See hin ab, dass der Radweg über den Bodanrück (Halbinsel zwischen Überlinger See und Untersee) geführt werden muss. Ebenso ist es im Bereich des Rheindeltas in Österreich notwendig, das Ufer zu verlassen.
Den Abschnitt rund um den Übersee können Sie durch die Fähre Konstanz – Meersburg abkürzen. Es ist auch möglich, die Runde um den Untersee auszulassen. Viele zusätzliche Schiffsverbindungen ermöglichen es Ihnen, Ihre Reise um den Bodensee ganz individuell zu gestalten.
Die Länge des Bodensee-Radwegs inklusive Umrundung des Untersees beträgt rund 260 Kilometer.

The approximately 260-kilometer bike path encircles the entire Lake Constance, which is made up of Obersee (including Überlinger See) and Untersee (consisting of Zeller See, Gnadensee, Markelfinger Winkel and Rheinsee). Most of the route takes you in the immediate vicinity of the lake shore. Only in two places is it not possible to have a route close to the shore due to the natural conditions: on the south bank of the Überlinger See the walls drop so steeply towards the lake that the bike path has to be led over the Bodanrück (peninsula between Überlinger See and Untersee). It is also necessary to leave the bank in the area of the Rhine Delta in Austria.
You can shorten the section around the overseas with the ferry Konstanz - Meersburg. It is also possible to skip the lap around the Untersee. Many additional ship connections allow you to customize your trip around Lake Constance.
The length of the Lake Constance cycle path, including the circuit around the Untersee, is around 260 kilometers.
